We carry out a personalised assessment to determine the solution best suited to your needs: laser hair removal or electrolysis.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”What is the difference between laser hair removal and electrolysis?” tab_id=”1707390370-2-4151788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”174890″]Laser hair removal effectively treats larger areas by targeting pigmented hairs. Electrolysis offers a highly precise solution for treating small areas and all hair types, including blonde, red, white or fine hair, as well as so-called hormone-dependent areas (the face and nipples) or areas where laser treatment cannot be carried out, such as certain tattooed areas.
Each method is chosen based on your individual profile to ensure you receive the most suitable treatment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”How many sessions are needed to see results?” tab_id=”1707390672761-2-951788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”104077″]For laser hair removal, a course of treatment typically comprises between 5 and 8 sessions, depending on the area being treated, skin type, hair density and the individual’s response to the treatment.
For electrolysis, the number of sessions varies depending on the area to be treated, and the amount and type of hair. A personalised assessment is carried out to determine the course of treatment best suited to your needs and goals.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Are these treatments suitable for sensitive skin?” tab_id=”1707407305452-6-501788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”150815″]Yes. Generally speaking, it is often described as a slight snap from a rubber band or a sensation of heat or cold, but it is still very bearable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Tips to ensure your laser hair removal session goes smoothly” tab_id=”1713256702558-7-251788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”104745″]The day before your treatment
Shave the area to be treated with a razor. (Avoid shaving the face.)
On the day of your session
To ensure the treatment is as effective as possible and to maximise your comfort:
The areas to be treated must be clean, thoroughly shaved and free from any cosmetic products (make-up, cream, oil, perfume or deodorant).
After your treatment, here are a few recommendations to help protect your skin
Make-up may be applied after the session if your skin tolerates it. However, in the event of sensitivity or redness, it is advisable to wait a few hours.
For the first 24 hours, avoid any contact with chlorinated swimming pools, steam rooms, saunas or sources of intense heat.
Avoid direct exposure to the sun in the days following the treatment.
It is essential to protect the skin on the treated areas from the sun using sun cream with an SPF of 50+.
What is not recommended before treatment
Do not remove hair by waxing, tweezing or using an electric epilator (which pulls the hair out at the root) for 4 to 6 weeks before treatment.
Do not use sunbeds or self-tanning products, body oils or expose yourself to prolonged sun exposure in the weeks leading up to treatment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”What are the contraindications?” tab_id=”1707390938349-4-251788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”101792″]

Sessions carried out by experienced and certified practitioners help to maximise results whilst minimising the risk of adverse effects.
In Switzerland, treatments using laser technology are subject to strict regulations to ensure client safety and compliance with current standards.
It is therefore important to ensure that the centre you choose uses certified equipment that is regularly maintained, and that the team has the necessary training.
At MY LASER Lausanne, we place great importance on your safety, the quality of our equipment and the personalised care we provide to each client.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Do you offer personalised facial and body treatments?” tab_id=”1707407305452-6-51491788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”495896″]Yes. Thanks to the combination of several complementary technologies and wavelengths, such as Alexandrite and YAG, our equipment enables us to treat all skin types, from I to VI, from the fairest to the darkest skin tones.
This combination allows us to draw up a personalised treatment plan, tailored to the skin type, hair type and the area to be treated.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”What technologies do we use for the Evolution 7HD electric hair removal system?” tab_id=”1788856252871-10-1081788946137242″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”616031″]In addition to our laser technologies, our centre is equipped with the Silhouet-Tone Evolution 7HD, a professional device designed for electrolysis.
Particularly suited to small areas and isolated hairs, it allows for the individual treatment of hairs that cannot be effectively targeted by the laser, notably white, grey or very light-coloured hairs.
It also serves as a complementary solution to complete a laser treatment and address any residual hairs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][/vc_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][uncode_block id=”130630″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
